PHWD Elections

The next General Election of the Purissima Hills Water District will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, to elect three Board Directors each to a four-year seat.


Nomination Period

The candidate nomination period for the November 5, 2024 General Election opens at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 15, 2024 and closes at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024, unless extended. Nomination papers will be available at the Registrar of Voters during the abovementioned period.

Prior to soliciting or receiving campaign contributions, a candidate must file form 501, Candidate Intention Statement, with the Registrar of Voters. This form is available here. Form 501 requires an original wet signature.

Additional required FPPC Filings include:

  • Form 470 (if the candidate anticipates receiving less than $2,000 in contributions). The original form needs to be returned to the Registrar of Voters.
  • Form 510 (if the candidate anticipates receiving more than $2,000 in contributions). The original form needs to be returned to the Secretary of State and a copy with the Registrar of Voters.
  • Form 700

These forms must be filed before spending, raising funds, or any contributions towards the candidacy. Instructions are provided in each form.
